Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) Program Data Access Consultancy is an ongoing project involving configuring Oracle and GeoServer on Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) systems to publish key indicators of environmental health to outside agencies and internal applications.
The three major components of this project were the aggregation and processing of existing monitoring data within a number of departments; the formatting of the data into appropriate standard format for publication by GeoServer; the configuration of NRAtlas, the Web Map Composer based application used by DECC to publish current and summarized data, with applicable metadata, in a variety of representations including graphical, tabular and mapping forms.
